Frequently Asked Questions
Are the machines portable?
All our machines are on wheels and are portable. The X-33 model requires 2 people to move it though. A lot of our customers store their machines under their carpet racks when they aren’t using them.
What kind of warranty comes with the machine?
Our machines come with a limited one year parts and labor warranty. Preventative maintenance visits are available.
Can you cut vinyl on the machine as well?
Our machines work with carpet AND vinyl.
Does the machine work with 15 foot goods?
All of our machines will roll and measure15 foot wide carpet and vinyl. (Some of our models will cut 15 foot goods completely for you while the others require you to cut the last foot and a half off by hand.)
Is financing available and if so at what interest rate?
Financing is available on the new and refurbished machines up to 84 months, the financing is open ended so the customer can pay off the machine after 1 year for principle only and no penalties.
How do you deliver the machines and how much is freight?
We deliver all of our machines on flat bed trailers to make for easier unloading of the machine. On site training is an available option. Freight charges vary depending on location, we can let you know the freight for your particular location
How do you tape up the carpet?
Foot cables are mounted on every machine so the person using the machine can activate the rollers from any where on the machine. This lets the user tape up or wrap the carpet or vinyl on the right side of the machine as well as the left side where the roll balance is left over.
Can you back-roll remnants on the machine?
All of our machines will allow the person using it to measure a piece of carpet or vinyl and roll it face out into a remnant in one step.
Who will service my machine?
We have a nationwide network of trained technicians that work on our equipment as well as our drivers who work on the machines. Typically we can have someone out the next day to work on your machine if something goes wrong.
How long do these machines typically last?
We have customers that have bought their machines over 15 years ago and are still using them now. If you take care of your machine it can serve you for many years.
What type of maintenance is required on the machine?
Cleaning out the machine’s cutting system and roller system with an air hose, spraying down the cutter chain with lubricant and checking the calibration from time to time is about the only maintenance required.
